• Students who want to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) must complete an enrollment form on the University Health Plans website. The deadline to submit an enrollment form for fall 2025 was September 9, 2025. 

    2025–2026 School Year

    • Fall semester coverage period: August 20, 2025–January 14, 2026
    • Spring semester coverage period: January 15–August 19, 2026
    • Fall enrollment continues automatically in the spring semester, provided you are a registered student in the spring. Please note that a delay in your spring registration may delay your spring health insurance enrollment.
    • If you are not registered in the spring, your coverage will end automatically on January 14, 2026.

    PLEASE NOTE: If you graduate in the fall 2025 semester, your insurance coverage will terminate on January 14, 2026. You (and any enrolled dependents) will not be eligible for insurance coverage for the spring 2026 semester, since you will not be a registered student in the spring.

    Special Enrollment Because of a Qualifying Life Event

    Students who waive the SHIP and experience an involuntary loss of coverage due to a Qualifying Life Event during the academic year can enroll in the SHIP for a prorated premium. Contact University Health Plans for enrollment assistance at [email protected] or 833.251.1129.
