    Choosing the Proper Course

Languages offers self-administered placement tests in most of the languages taught at The New School. Prospective students can request the test by sending an email to the Languages Office at [email protected]. After completing the test, students can send it back to the Languages Office, which will coordinate with a faculty member in order to assess the test and advise the student about course options.

To learn more about placement exams or to contact a language coordinator about an oral assessment, email [email protected] or call 212.229.5676.
