We strive to tell our story persuasively and consistently in order to attract the students, faculty, partners, and employers who will help the university grow.

Leading creative and communications projects for everything from new Web content to media outreach, project managers are charged with delivering projects on time, on budget, and on message.

Your project manager will coordinate Marketing and Communication writers, editors, publicists, designers, marketers, photographers, and video and Web producers as needed—and serve as your source for information and progress reports until your project is complete.

The Design and Production department creates nearly 1,000 visual pieces each year that promote New School academic programs, institutional growth, civic engagement, and campus life. The Messaging and Editorial Content group creates and edits content for the entire university. Our mission is to reflect The New School's exceptional depth of creativity, intellect, and passion in everything we develop.

Online Marketing Platforms (OMP) builds and maintains interactive multimedia websites that brand the university and each of its parts, communicate effectively to prospective students, and engage current stakeholders.

Digital Content and Engagement is responsible for the production and oversight of New School social media channels and video and photography content for the university. Each project's style and direction emerge from a collaborative process between stakeholders.

The Communications and Media Relations team manages messaging about the university for both internal and external audiences. The department handles strategic messaging, media relations, crisis communications, and internal communications.

Responsible for increasing overall visibility of The New School’s mission, values, and key initiatives and enhancing its reputation among both internal and external audiences. The team focuses on building trust, confidence and pride in the university by maximizing awareness of and engagement with university initiatives; research, scholarship, and creative practice (RSCP); and events from across the university.
