In HOME: Architecture of Memories, I explore the intricate connections between space, memory, and identity through evocative textile artworks. This project is deeply rooted in the history and transitions of my family home in India. Each piece in this series examines the way specific spaces within the home shape familial bonds and personal histories, capturing the essence of the place where life's quiet dramas and joys unfolded.

The vibrant textures and colors of the space captured in my textile art symbolize unity and communication within the family. My work features intricate layers that play on light and shadow, creating a stained-glass effect with textiles dyed in natural hues. These colors, crucial to the narrative and mood of each piece, create a subtle, monochromatic palette that highlights texture and form. The fabric patches are not just pieces of material but fragments of life—each one a storyteller, recounting tales of togetherness and solitude, happiness and melancholy.

Committed to zero waste, I use fabric remnants in my creations, continuously exploring new fiber techniques and traditional processes to craft environmentally conscious artwork. Through this series, I convey the way spaces frame our experiences and identity, inviting viewers to reflect on the universal themes of change and loss and the enduring significance of home as both a physical space and a lived experience.
