The Schools of Public Engagement strives to provide funding opportunities to all applicants who indicate their desire to be considered for financial aid on the admission application.
A variety of forms of financial assistance and funding opportunities, including merit-based tuition scholarships, are available from The New School. The Schools of Public Engagement also maintains partnerships with various service organizations to provide additional funding opportunities, as detailed below.
The New School's Office of Financial Aid can answer questions about applying for financial aid, calculating the overall cost of attendance, and billing and payment options.
It is not necessary to have an admission decision to begin the financial aid process. All new and continuing U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizen students should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Undergraduate international applicants can apply for need-based financial aid through the International Student Aid Application.
For additional funding opportunities in your specific area of study, please visit the Financial Aid and Funding Opportunities page on that school or program's website. See the full list of schools and programs in the Schools of Public Engagement on the Academics page.
