Below are the tuition and fees for the 2026–2027 academic year for new students and continuing students who enrolled in fall 2025 or later. All amounts are per semester unless otherwise specified.
If you are a continuing student who enrolled before fall 2025 visit the Continuing Students tuition page for your tuition and fee amounts.
An estimated tuition cost can be calculated by locating your degree level (e.g., undergraduate), type of degree (e.g., Bachelor of Arts), and college (e.g., Parsons School of Design). Your tuition charge may be a flat tuition rate or a per-credit rate,
depending on your program and registration. Mandatory university and other fees charged by the university can be found in the University Fees section. Continuing and Professional Education costs can be found in the Continuing and Professional Education
section.
The New School has partnered with GradGuard to offer tuition insurance. This insurance offers a safety net for students and families by reimbursing up to 100 percent of nonrefundable educational expenses—including
tuition, room and board, and academic fees—if a student must withdraw during the semester for a covered reason. These reasons include serious injury or illness, chronic conditions, mental health challenges, the death of a tuition payer, or the involuntary
job loss of a tuition payer. A maximum of $50,000 in coverage can taken out.
