For the duration of the program, students have the option of living in New School dormitories, located in the famous Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan. This area is centrally located; class sessions will be held nearby, and the neighborhood offers many cultural
and political sites of interest as well as shopping and restaurants. In addition, it offers easy access to subways and is relatively close to the United Nations headquarters. Housing fees are separate from course tuition.
Visit the
Summer Housing page to find the application process, deadlines, fees, and other details. Students are also welcome to secure their own housing separate from The New School.
Housing is available at a weekly rate for students who are interested in living in New York City for the duration of the program. To book housing for
the summer, please contact our Housing department at [email protected] for more information.
